Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by ensuring the efficient functioning of our systems and providing exceptional service to our patients. Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm and Friday from 7:30am-12pm. Duties
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by ensuring the efficient functioning of our systems and providing exceptional service to our patients. Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm and Friday from 7:30am-12pm. Duties
- Rooming patients, updating medical history, demographic information and relevant concerns
- Educate patients on ophthalmic procedures and post-operative instructions
- Conduct testing as indicated by the physician
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy to assist with patient assessments and provide relevant information.
- Implement aseptic techniques in accordance with health regulations to ensure patient safety.
- Previous experience as an Ophthalmic Technician is required
- Proficiency in using various systems related to clinic operations is desirable.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
- Ophthalmic Technician certification is preferred but not required
