Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hourJob description:Well established law firm in Dothan, Al is seeking to add to their team an experienced Paralegal. This position offers a Monday- Friday day time schedule with half days on Friday. Take advantage of all major holidays being closed and paid while also offering a generous 3 weeks of PTO each year. You will also want to take advantage of a 3% retirement match. Join a great office team that offers a solid paralegal position with a great work/life balance!Skills Needed:
  • Must have 3+ years experience working in the legal field; paralegal certification a PLUS
  • Must be highly professional, organized, and efficient;
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to prepare legal documents with ease;
  • Capable of communicating with clients and client advisors regarding their individual situations
  • Capable of maintaining client confidentiality in all situations; courteous and respectful to all clients
  • Must be able to manage attorney calendars
  • Must be willing to act as a gatekeeper for the partners in the firm, handling minor client requests/needs without being micromanaged
  • Willing to learn processes and systems unique to our firm; must be able to work cohesively with other staff
  • Ability to perform legal research a PLUS
  • MUST be punctual to work every day.
  • Previous experience with Accounts Payable and Receivables a plus.
