Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in a classroom setting. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, dependable, and enjoy helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in keeping students focused, engaged, and on task throughout the school day.
- Support students in remaining in designated learning areas and following classroom routines.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all student information in accordance with school policies.
- Provide consistent guidance and redirection, understanding that students may require repeated prompts and encouragement.
- Collaborate effectively with the classroom teacher and serve as a positive, reliable member of the instructional team.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work patiently with students who need additional support.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
