Part Time Admin Assistant

Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Clergy & Office Assistant for a local assembly. Work hours for this position are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am-12:30pm. Pay rate is $14-15 per hour.
Job Functions:
  • Answer phones and assist callers
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments and assist with special projects
  • Communicate events and ministry needs to the membership
  • Ensure committee chairs have monthly meeting information as required
  • Assist with coordinating weekly service material and setting up facilities for services
  • Manage office equipment and ensure cost effective purchase of office supplies
  • Track RSVP's for events
  • Maintain membership records and update as needed
  • Distribute mailings to membership
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising efforts
Requirements:
  • Must have 2-4 years of administrative support experience with preference given to non-profit or religious experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
  • Must have demonstrated experience providing calendar and record management and a history of maintaining confidentiality
  • Experience coordinating events or programs for a non-profit
