Part Time Visitor Service Manager
Job Description
Personnel Resources has a client with an immediate opening for a Part-time Visitor Service Manager at a local garden retreat in Dothan, AL. This position will typically work 20-24 hours a week unless assisting with an event.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the volunteer program and gift shop
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Handle various reporting to include tracking income, forecasting volume, and establishing goals
- Coordinate the newsletter and manage the company website
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of retail management experience (museum/non-profit setting is preferred )
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience is required
- Strong hospitality skills to provide exceptional guest services
- Proficient in cash handling and basic financial transactions
- Ability to manage and coordinate events
- Good computer skills to include MS Excel
