We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join a manufacturing team in the Dothan area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is perfect for someone who is open to growing into a full time position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join a manufacturing team in the Dothan area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is perfect for someone who is open to growing into a full time position.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day transactions.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial activities.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced.
- Accounts payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll functions to include entering timesheets, taxes, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Previous experience using accounting and timekeeping software
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience with AP, AR, Payroll or general bookkeeping is required
