Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Party Chief to lead and coordinate field survey operations for heavy civil construction projects. This role involves managing a survey crew, ensuring safety, training, and quality control, while performing a range of surveys including stakeouts, topographic, boundary, and utility surveys.
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise field survey crews, ensuring efficient and safe operations
Conduct and review survey computations, and oversee construction layout and field operations
Prepare and maintain topographic and contour maps
Record and review data for accuracy
Maintain survey equipment and vehicles
Ensure the quality of all survey measurements

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction surveying with FDOT stakeout experience
Trimble machine control and GPS layout experience preferred
Knowledge of ALTA standards is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Florida driver’s license with the ability to meet MVR requirements
Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
