Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage bi-weekly payroll for over 200 employees and assist the CFO with General Ledger and customer service duties for a company in Dothan, AL.

Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using Pay Clock and spreadsheets.
- Generate ACH payments and occasional checks for employee compensation.
- Manage payroll across multiple entities and states.
- Assist with hourly report submissions to upper management.
- Perform tax calculations and government report filings, including VETS 4212.
- Provide general accounting support, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support payroll tax reporting, fixed asset management, and annual audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, with multi-state payroll experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Sage, Microsoft Outlook/Word).
- Knowledge of CBA/SCA pay scales and tax reporting is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
