Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Precision Machinist with a strong background in precision manufacturing, particularly centerless grinding. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that components meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate precision machining equipment, including centerless grinders, to produce components to exact specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine machining requirements.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Conduct in-process inspections and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers) to ensure the quality of machined parts.
- Make necessary tooling adjustments and changeovers to meet production requirements.
- Work in collaboration with engineering and quality control teams to address any deviations from specifications.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or machinist apprenticeship is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Precision Machinist with a specialization in centerless grinding.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating centerless grinding machines and other precision machining equipment.
- Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of various materials, tooling, and machining processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining techniques.
