Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Purchase Order Clerk with a busy office in Dothan. This position will work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and pay rate is $12-14, based on experience. 
Duties:
  • Review inventory levels and assist in determining purchasing needs
  • Issue purchase orders to approved vendors
  • Monitor order confirmations, schedules and back orders
  • Enter purchase orders into the inventory management system 
  • Verify product codes, descriptions and costs
  • Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing schedules as needed
  • Assist in routine cycle counts as needed
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative role
  • Must have strong attention to detail and high accuracy
