Purchasing Specialist
Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Purchasing Specialist to assist with meeting production goals for a leading manufacturing facility in the Dothan area. If you have a background in purchasing, production planning and invoicing, this may be for you!
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay: $16/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
Purchasing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Manage MRP and issue work orders to the production floor
- Manage outsourcing needs based on production schedules
- Support purchasing and invoicing processes while maintaining accurate records
Purchasing Specialist Qualifications:
- Experience with material production planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
