Job Description

Great opportunity for a recent college grad with a degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related Science field!
Direct Hire opportunity to join a local food processing plant to work within their lab as a member of the Research and Development Team.
What you’ll do:
  • Assist with product development from bench-top to plant trials
  • Prepare bench samples according to formula’s and recipes, complete analytic tests (pH, viscosity, Aw, sensory, etc.), and document results
  • Support scale-up for production and collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Procurement
  • Maintain lab ingredient inventory and equipment following lab SOP’s
  • Prepare samples and required documentation for customer shipments
What we’re looking for:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience) Recent grads encouraged to apply
  • 1–3 years in R&D, food lab, or food manufacturing preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Must have proficient computer skills in MS Office
This position offers a Monday- Friday 8-5 schedule with full benefits package offered!#DP1
