Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Fermentation Technician to join a team in Dothan, AL. You will work Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and adjust fermentation processes and equipment.
- Report equipment failures and major process issues to the Supervisor.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records for fermentation, separation, and cleaning processes.
- Perform yeast separation and follow molasses process to minimize loss.
- Follow safety and food safety regulations, including handling chemicals safely.
- Assist with environmental cleaning and general maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; 3+ years of experience in food-grade production or process industry preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, manage time, and multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
