Personnel Resources is actively recruiting for a direct hire Resident Project Inspector in Dothan, AL.
Pay will start at $25.00 per hour based on experience and they provide a full benefits package including health insurance and PTO.
General Job Description and Duties:Serves as Resident Project Representative for various construction projects (primarily underground utilities, paving, sidewalks, site improvements, grading, etc.). Duties include oversight on construction projects, field supervision, documentation, quality control, ensuring specifications are being met, pay request validation, coordination with contractors, engineers, and clients, and reporting to the engineering construction manager.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction inspection or construction related work within heavy construction, including transportation, water and wastewater facilities and utilities, airports, buildings, development, or mining.
- High School Diploma/GED is required - 2-yr Associate or Technical Degree is preferred.
- ALDOT certifications for construction inspection a plus (traffic control, erosion control, etc.).
- Projects are outside in all weather conditions. Must be capable of working outside in the field and at the project site for the duration of the project. Must be willing to work non-traditional work hours at times.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Successful candidate will be working not only with the owner, engineer and contractor but will also have to work with public from time to time (work constructed across easements, for instance).
- Driver license to support function of position is a must.
