We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our clothing procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset, be a self starter and thrive in a fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our clothing procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset, be a self starter and thrive in a fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative functions and inventory management of a men's clothing department
- Monitor monthly sales for each brand to ensure seasonal and annual goals are being met
- Demonstrate an understanding of each brand to include growth opportunity and visual merchandising
- Work closely with brand partners to understand overall direction of the brand and how it aligns with company values, product assortment and marketing strategies. Communicate these to store leadership team
- Oversee pre-season ordering and order revisions
- Schedule appointments with brand partners to view seasonal offerings
- Travel to trade shows (20-30 days per year)
- Generate, submit and ensure delivery of all pre-season orders
- Bachelors degree in a business related field is preferred but not required
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a buying or inventory management role
- Must have the ability to travel overnight for 20-30 days annually
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be willing to work a flexible shift to include some Saturdays
