Job Description
We are hiring a Sewing Machine Operator to operate and maintain sewing equipment while producing quality finished products according to company standards in Chipley, Florida for $14/hour, Monday-Thursday and only some Fridays!
Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust industrial sewing machines to sew, hem, gather, reinforce, and decorate materials
- Set up machines, including threading, needles, bobbins, and attachments
- Monitor machine operation and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Move materials to and from the workstation, following lifting guidelines
- Clean and maintain the machine and work area
- Follow all safety procedures and complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of sewing machine operation
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Ability to sit and perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift
- Ability to perform medium physical work and lift/move materials up to 40 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of the Lead Tec terminal preferred
- Industrial sewing experience preferred
