Job Description
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to work nights at a local medical facility in Dothan, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and employees. Pay will start at $14.25 per hour and the schedule will be Monday - Friday 6pm - 6am with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
Requirements:
- Familiarity with security systems
- At least 25 years old
- Security certificate or relevant training is preferred
- Conflict management skills
- Military or correctional facility background is preferred
