Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Production Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for detailed modeling and design of products across our 28 unique product families using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced with Autodesk Inventor, including iParts, iAssemblies, iLogic, and VBA. ERP experience is encouraged but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate accurate 3D models of existing equipment using best modeling practices.
- Design new equipment based on information provided on order forms.
- Create technical and fabrication drawings.
- Maintain accurate BOMs for designed machines.
- Coordinate with the programming department to ensure parts successfully reach the shop floor.
- Enter machine information into Epicor.
- Improve existing processes through the creation and use of iLogic.
- Mentor less-experienced team members on best drawing practices.
- Assist with layouts, technical documentation, and R&D as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience modeling parts and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor.
- Significant experience with Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor Frame Generator.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply best modeling practices.
- Moderate to significant experience with iLogic, iParts, and iAssemblies.
- Positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable working with open-ended problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing vibratory equipment.
- Experience working with assets in Autodesk Inventor.
- DFM experience.
- Any of the following certifications:
- ACA
- ACP
- ACE
- CSWA
- CSWP
- CSWPA-SM
- CSWPA-DT
- CSWPA-WD
