Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent Job Number: IND5473 Pay Rate: $12.50/hour

Job Description

Personnel Resources has an immediate opening for a Shipping Associate for a local manufacturing company. This position has pay starting at $12.50/hour, a generous benefits package including health insurance and a 401k, while working Monday-Friday 7am until production is met. Occasional Saturdays may be required. This position is located in the Geneva, AL area.

Job Description:

  • Wrapping ends of planks and wrapping sticks together and building stacks to be shipped out
  • Load and unload materials
  • Use overhead crane to lift heavier objects

Job Requirements and Skill Set:

  • Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes, including packing, labeling, and preparing shipments for delivery.
  • Ability to lift up to 65-70 lbs
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members, suppliers, and carriers.
