Job Description
Personnel Resources is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Shop Workers in Dothan. These Direct Hire roles involve supporting daily operations within our workshop, assisting with assembly, installing and providing high quality products to our customers. Ideal candidates will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. These positions offer a four -day work week from 6am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of products based on blueprints and designs
- Cut, measure and install product
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a safe environment
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and report any defects or issues
- Support team members with various tasks as needed to meet production goals
Requirements
- Must have experience in a Manufacturing or Construction setting
- Prior Experience in Carpentry or Cabinetry preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to scheduled shifts
