Job Description
We have a direct hire opportunity for an Accountant to join a leading employer in the Wiregrass area. For this position we are ideally looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field with 1-4 years experience working in an accounting type role.
This position offers a competitive salary between $50,000 - $55,000 per year and will be working a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule.

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and journal entries
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Review and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- 1-4 years of experience with Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
