What You’ll Do:
- Communicate with clients to gather essential information for determining taxable income and deductible expenses.
- Review financial documents to prepare accurate tax returns and provide comprehensive tax services.
- Leverage your tax knowledge to identify benefits and deductions for clients.
- Accurately enter client tax data into cutting-edge tax software.
- Perform tax law research to address client-specific tax issues.
- Ensure all statements and returns are filed by established deadlines, aiming for zero revisions.
- Submit tax returns to partners for review and feedback.
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to encouraging new business opportunities.
Who You Are:
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with clients.
- Bookkeeping experience is a plus.
- Two or more years of experience in public accounting and/or tax planning and preparation is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
