Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to provide trauma-informed therapy and support to children and families affected by abuse.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention, individual, and group therapy.
- Develop treatment goals and maintain confidential clinical records.
- Coordinate appointments and provide follow-up support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Complete required documentation, statistics, and grant reports.
- Assist with quality assurance, training, outreach, and fundraising activities.
- Report urgent case concerns to the Executive Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Alabama licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
- Knowledge of child abuse, trauma, and trauma-informed care.
- Ability to engage children in a therapeutic setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Salary
- License-eligible: $45,000–$48,000 annually
- Licensed: $55,000–$58,000 annually
Salary based on licensure and experience.
