Personnel Resources has an immediate opening for a machine operator. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of fabricating machines that punch, shape, cut, bend and structure. This will be a Try-Hire role in Dothan, AL.

Job Description:

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measure work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine.
• Accurate operation of machine.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece, using a file, wire brush or grinder.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
• Assist machine operators in setting up machine.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus but not required
• Angle/Bar Line, Burn Table, Press Brake
• Class C: Saw, Tag Machine.

Job Requirements and Skills Set:

• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.

Work Schedule:

Workdays: Monday - Friday

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm and Friday 6am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $17/hr
